Everything is in-person in or around Vancouver, BC.
Groups may be at a community centre or other public/community kind of space, or at my home.
1-on-1 conversations can happen in a cafe, on a walk, in a library, etc — we’ll decide together! But Mount Pleasant, Olympic Village, Fairview, Cambie Village — these are the main neighbourhoods that I frequent.

Some groups (like Puddles & Poems) are free, others will have a (reasonable) cost — this is so that I can cover the cost of rentals, supplies, and my time.
If we’re meeting 1-on-1, the first time will just be a chance to meet and get to know each other a bit — this is free and I’m not too worried about the time. If we decide to keep meeting to work on some specific things, it’ll be $50/hour for my time.

If you see a group you’re interested in that requires sign-up or want to set up a 1-on-1, please e-mail me.
Payment, when applicable, is through e-transfer before we meet to wendyliworks@gmail.com.

I have a master’s in counselling psychology and am currently registered with the BCACC — I do want to be fully transparent about my professional background. But what I’m offering here at Wendy Li Works is not as a counsellor. The groups and conversations here are NOT meant to be therapy for mental health issues.

I would not identify as Christian because I’m really not sure about the person of Jesus, but my experiences in Christian community do inform how I see the world. Spirituality is important to me, but it can show up (or not) in our conversations in a way that feels resonant for you.
